After graduating from the University of Illinois where I was a three year letterman and received awards from the Big Ten and Blue Gray All Star Game, I joined the football staff for the Fighting Illini. After winning a Big Ten Championship and appearing in the Rose Bowl, I went on to become the recruiting coordinator at UNLV and UCLA. After landing several nationally ranked classes, including a #1 ranked class, I was named the nation's top recruiting coordinator by ESPN.com and high school football recruiting analyst, Tom Lemming. Before joining NCSA, I also spent three years with Taylor Scouting Services advising college coaches on recruits. Other stops include San Jose State as an Assistant Athletic Director and most recently as the Director of Football Operations for the University of Minnesota.
With NCSA, I currently evaluate top recruits across the country providing my evaluations to the top football programs in the nation. Finally, as a recruiting expert, I also rank the top college football prospects for a variety of publications, co-host a recruiting show, teach a recruiting class for college coaches and write a blog for NCSA Athletic Recruiting called “Ask Coach Taylor.”
