Matthew Busch is a senior from Falcon Heights, Minnesota, a city in the middle of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Matthew is a 6’0” 195 pound RHP/SS and has performed well on the field as well as in the classroom. He is maintaining a 3.79 GPA and has scored a 28 on the ACT and 1280 on SAT. Matt is a part of the National Honor Society and in his spare time has volunteered at church, gone on mission trips, and also has been a volunteer for the Minnesota Twins Youth Training Camp. He is looking to study either business or sports management.
In baseball, Matthew was named to the State All-Star Team – one of the top 18 juniors in the state that compete against other state all-star teams in the Midwest Baseball Classic. Matthew has also been named to the All-Conference team his junior and sophomore years. In the summer for his legion team, he had the best ERA in the district (0.90). NCSA is proud to honor Matthew Busch as the February Impact Athlete of the Month.
