NCSA caught up with rising baseball star Ethan Laws to talk about his high school career and the opportunity to compete at the next level.
NCSA: What motivates you before a big game?
Laws: The thrill of going out on the field and giving my all and leaving nothing out.
NCSA: What are you looking forward to if and when you get the opportunity to play at the collegiate level?
Laws: The chance to better myself as a person and as a baseball player.
NCSA: Why did you get involved in baseball?
Laws: It looked fun to do and not a lot of people were trying it.
NCSA: Tell us about what you've learned since being with NCSA.
Laws: That it takes a lot more than I thought to be recruited by a college.
NCSA: What are your goals athletically, academically and in your community for the rest of the school year?
Laws: I want to win districts this year, and I want to finish the year out with a 3.6 GPA.
