Travis Mosler, from Chino Hills, CA is standing out in the talented hotbed of Southern California. Playing year around against high level competition and studying hard in the class room, Travis can do it all.
As a junior, Travis put up impressive numbers on the pitching mound. The 6’2”, left hander had a 0.79 ERA and .240 opponent’s batting average at Chino Hills High School. Travis is able to spot his fastball as well as using his hook and change-up to keep batters on their heals. His California Rockies made it all the way to the Don Mattingly World Series this summer in New Jersey.
Travis is the epitome of a student-athlete by being an All-Academic Selection for the Sierra League. He is carrying a 3.75 GPA, scored a 26 on the ACT and 1260/1600 on the SAT. Travis is on the National Honor Roll and won the President’s Award for Educational Excellence this past year.
Heading into senior year, all of us here at the National Collegiate Scouting Association are excited for Travis and his opportunity to continue his chances of playing at the collegiate level.
