Written Stories and Feedback from NCSA Athletes and Families

My recruiting process was like no other, the attention to detail as well as the amount of effort put into me personally was immense, I felt like I could ask any sort of question at any time of day and they would gladly answer. Personally, I did not have many obstacles if any. The staff of NCSA took care of everything and left no room for error, it was very comforting to know I was in the right hands.

Academics was important during the recruiting process, I knew I wanted to play volleyball at a good school, but when volleyball was over I knew I needed something to show for my time there, therefore academics was a huge part of my decision.

The transition to becoming a college athlete was not hard to adapt to, nor did it take much time. The college I went to was very big on putting academics first as well as the coach. Practice times as workouts were scheduled around our class times and study halls were installed for first year players. All of this made it easier to pursue my athletics first, and then turn focus to volleyball.

It felt amazing to represent my college, being at Lewis University not many people outside the Chicago area know where Lewis is, but in the volleyball world everybody knew who we were. Wearing Lewis on my back and taking our school to the Final Four and maintaining a regular season rank within the top ten in the nation along with schools such as USC,UCLA, Stanford, UC Irvine, BYU to just name a few that were also listed among us. When I wear a Lewis shirt now, it seems that more people tend to take notice and ask when our next game was, or to compliment me on our season. A feeling that will never go away easily

I was voted captain my senior year, and at the end of the year amongst my peers I was voted to be "most inspirational" this to me helps show the leadership and ability to put the team before myself the college athletics gave me. In addition to those skills, I believe athletically I became stronger, faster, and I jumped higher than I could ever before.

I would advise that aspiring athletes and parents one major thing and that is to not get caught up in the glamour or the pull of the name of a school. While looking into a school a lot of athletes want to go to big name schools because that’s what they get to brag about, but in reality if you go to that school and you don’t play, or don’t focus on your schooling what is the point? If you go to a school that fits your and you can play and have an impact on your team while pursuing academics and not falling into the blur or other students go for it. But the worst that I have seen happen is that guys go to huge schools so they can brag they go there, but if you’re a bench warmer and never see the playing field or court, what’s the point? Though if that’s what you want to do by all means go after it.

And right now I’m pursuing to go play professional volleyball overseas.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave on my journey to find the perfect university for me. Dave made my experience such an exciting and educating time in my life and became a family friend for years. Playing volleyball through high school I knew that I wanted to play in college, and I knew that I wanted to go out of state. With those guidelines NCSA was able to help me and my family and I could not believe the letters that literally started flowing in expressing interest in showing me their school and meeting the team to see if we could be a good fit. Volleyball was always a passion for me as was educating children and I was lucky enough to have a few choice of school that I could go to that had both!

Going to different schools to different states I was able to narrow it down to two schools and it was up to me, I actually was in the position where I had two coaches wanting to pay me to come to their school and I could not believe it! Talking with my family and with both coaches I was able to make the right decision for me. Lindenwood University, 6 hours away from my home town was the place for me and since then I have never looked back. I love playing, I met a ton of life long friends and even my soon-to-be husband! I made the decision my Junior year to not play anymore but because of the school type I was able to keep my scholership. I stayed very involved with the volleyball teams, and even ended up coaching 2 years for a high school club team.

I am confident that I would have never heard of Lindenwood University, and they would have never heard of me if it was not for NCSA and my mentor through the process Dave Carl. It was such an easy process and I had so many options so I could really make the best decision for me.
I am forever thankful for the services that NCSA provided because going to Lindenwood University continued my love for volleyball, made me into a great Kindergarten teacher, allowed me to meet life long friends, and meet my husband!

Working with NCSA was incredibly helpful for me. In high school I was unsure of where I wanted to go to college. Then on top of that I did not know what I wanted to study. Partnering with NCSA allowed me to focus on finishing high school without worrying about finding a college. All of a sudden coaches started contacting me as a result of my profile. I was able to ask them questions about the team and school to see if it would be a good fit for me. I ended up finding an amazing college with an incredible soccer team and we went on to win the NCCAA national championship.

During my first year of college while playing soccer I was then able think about what I'd hope to do for the rest of my life. I got a degree in Intercultural and Urban missions and founded the ministry “When the Saints”. We are building a rehabilitation center for teenage girls who are forced into prostitution in the SE African country of Malawi. I’m so grateful to NCSA for the role that they played in helping to author the story of my life. (To learn more about When the Saints go to www.WhentheSaints.com).

Jeff,

My transition to Stetson has been great. Preseason was probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but I got through it. I am learning a lot, all the processes on the team are totally different, and the speed of play is awesome. The first game I played I got an assist, so I was pretty excited about that. Classes are tough, but I am staying on top of it. It will take some time for me to get to that starter position, but Im going to keep working hard.

Hope all is well with you!

Thanks for all of your help.

Caleb

Jeff,
Thank you for your email. My transition has been quite tough (not surprisingly, as I am at the military academy), but soccer has been a great relief from all the stress that comes with West Point. We had our home opener tonight against NJIT, and we won 2-1. I got about 15 minutes of playing time towards the end which was great. I have plenty of good stories from summer training, but they are mostly military related and I don't think they would translate well! But I appreciate everything the NCSA has done in getting me here, it has given me a bigger opportunity than to just play soccer, it has given me the reality of being a cadet at the #1 school in the nation (as voted by Forbe's)!
Thank again!
Brennan

Thanks Jeff,

Have had a great couple of weeks. Started the regular season tonight and we won our first 4 - 0.
School started Monday and I am definitely working on the grades. Thanks again for all you and the NCSA did to help me through the process.

Nick

Jeff,

The transition has been very smooth and i am absolutely loving it. As of right now I am going to be the starting forward for our first game on Saturday. Classes are great and I love this campus. If you have any soccer players that are looking for a school, I strongly prefer Muskingum.

Thanks,

Zane

Jeff,

Everything is going great! My move was good and the worst part was by far 2-a-days. Man, the ice bath became my best friend! I found out yesterday that I made the travel team here at McMurry. I have been pretty happy so far and I would really like to thank you for all of NCSA’s hard work and making my goal happen for me. I really appreciate it!

God Bless,

Michael

Coach,

Thanks for checking in. So far everything has been awesome! We are an NAIA school and 3 teams in our conference are ranked in the NAIA top 20. We have played 3 games and I am playing defensive center mid. The quicker pace of the game has been an adjustment. This is the first year LSU Shreveport has had a mens team, so we have 18 freshmen on our squad. We have a good coach and we are playing hard. LSU-S might be a good place for you to recommend to some of your prospects.

Thanks,

Luke

Ms. Rawson:

This is extremely helpful. We want to thank you again for your support!

Vital Family

Thank all of the staff at NCSA for all their support it was gladly appreciated. Now my dad said because I was only going to a Junior College that I could keep and maintain my website. Is this information factual? Well thanks again for your time and efforts put forth.

Thank you so much and thank you for all your help!

Britt received the papers to sign with Howard. She reports there on August 15. She received the following awards: All Catholic, All Academic and she was nominated for the Rev. John Zwers Softball Scholar Athlete Leader Award. She also received several academic honors from her school including the President's Education Awards Program. She should be done today with the essay you asked her to complete describing her experience with the NCSA. We will also complete the survey.

Thanks so much for your help and special interest the last couple of years. I am very glad we sign up with NCSA. I truly feel you made a difference and helped us through this hectic process. It was great working with you.

Coach Rawson,

Thank you for all of the hard work on getting my video out there. I think it looks great and I am interested in a lot of the schools that you sent it out to.

Thanks,

Lauren

Amanda – thanks – you did a great job – well done – and a huge thank you - Jeff

I value the esteemed opinion of Mr. Schilcht. I realize that coaching sessions are very helpful. NCSA has provided me with a structure to my scouting experience that cannot be replicated with a regular club or high school coach.

NCSA provided support, information, guidance, and communication to my daughter Erin in regards to the college marketing and recruitment process. It was Erin who discovered your organization's Web site and was interested enough to ask us to investigate. What Erin didn't realize at the beginning is what extensive resources you would offer her and how you would continue to support her throughout her college career.

Our simple investment with NCSA has given Erin a return that cannot be matched. The lifetime return will be invaluable.

Hello , here is my story and thank you for all of your help.

First of all, the recruiting process was one of the most exciting, but also one of the most stressful times of my life. It was great to be recognized by a lot of college coaches and to be in contact by them. At the same time it was difficult not knowing what school I would end up at and what my future held. One of the things I did that I believe really helped was being proactive with the coaches. NCSA really helped in showing me how important it was to call the coaches back after a missed call, calling them to ask where I stand and how I would fit in their program, and just calling them out of respect. Some advice I would give to future recruits would be that it is never too early to start in the process and also to always stay proactive.

I am writing to thank you for all of your help in getting Marly placed with Rider. She is very happy with her choice, and is really looking forward to September. She ended up getting a $14,000 annual academic scholarship, and $7,500 athletic scholarship, which can vary each year of course. I have attached a picture of her, my husband Jim, her high school tennis coach, Chris Dexter, and myself, signing her letter of intent.
In a few years I may be using you again as our younger daughter, who is currently a freshman, is suddenly getting very into tennis and is getting good too!

Thanks again for everything.

Thank you for all your help. My family couldn't have done it without you. Although this is a partial scholarship, I'm in position to obtain a full one next season and this is a wonderful position to be in.

Thanks for all your help to make Breanna’s college hockey dream come true!

Kyle has committed to Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC. This is an NAIA school and doesn't offer athletic scholarships. We are very excited though and would not have known about this school if it hadn't been for NCSA. Please let us know the next steps.

Thank you for all your time!!

Thank you for your e-mail. I have indeed committed to play football at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater Virginia. I want to thank ncsasports and the staff for helping me and my family receive the information needed to make the right choice.

Thanks, You have been a great help in getting me started to a great college career. Thank you for everything. I will be keeping in touch with you. Your help has been greatly appreciated and I'm sure i will need some advice in the future. Well thanks again for helping me this year.

Thanks.
I completed my Senior Report.
Since NCSA has helped me play on Saturdays, I will keep my profile updated during college. Maybe by my junior year there will be a NProSA to help me get noticed and play on Sundays.

I just wanted to thank you for all of the work and effort you put into helping me this past year. It was difficult on me, I cant even imagine how confusing it must have been for you. But I cant thank you enough.

I know Gina was not great at keeping current on your site and I wanted to let you and your company know that I personally, felt you did an outstanding job through the years. I will speak highly of your organization and thank you for your continued dedication to Gina these last years.

Hey, I have made a decision and I have signed to play basketball with the University of Alaska Fairbanks. They gave me a Waiver on my tuition and provided me with scholarship money for books. I want to thank you for all of the work you put in to help me out, it is greatly appreciated! I think that you guys do an excellent job! Thank you!

I just graduated on Sunday and I am doing well. I have committed to Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I won't be playing soccer but the doesn't, in any way, knock NCSA or what you guys have done for me with respect to the recruiting process. I have been introduced to many coaches from a lot of top soccer programs because of this service, and though I made the decision to not play soccer in college, it wasn't because I didn't have the opportunity to, it was just because I made a personal decision not to. Along with Soccer, I have been heavily involved with Speech and Drama at Rich Central. I was actually a finalist at the Illinois State Speech Tournament this past year. When making my college decision I decided that I really wanted to continue performing and Bradley has one of the best Speech teams in the country and this is the reason that I will be enrolling there this fall. I want to thank you guys at NCSA, even though I won't be playing soccer next year. Because of NCSA I had something that a lot of kids that I know do not have, options. Though my decision was hard, I'm glad that it was a "where am I going?"decision, as opposed to an "am I going?" decision. And for that I thank you and NCSA

I would like to thank all of you at NCSA though for everything that you've done for me and my family through this vigorous process.

Thank you for all support!
All the members of your company are very helpful and caring people. They took the time to help my daughter and always returned my email or calls. Not all company return calls or emails.

The process started with Ty Garland he explained the contract and the best part is he said IF my daughter want to move school next year your group (NCSA) will still help her FIND ANOTHER SCHOOL till she finish university. Great ....

Next is Sara Rode always returns my call and emails and answers my questions directly. If I have a request its always answered when I check my email. She talks clearly and slowly, English is my second language, excellent job Sara Rode. Thank you.

Amanda Rawson. Thank you for your support. Please continue to keep my daughter in mind for better opportunities for next year.

Thank you very much for all the time and effort that you and the NCSA team put into my college athletic experience and thank you so much for the help with the recruiting process. It definitely made a difference and I had and amazing turn out through the organization. Also, I am very excited about furthering my education at the University of Dubuque and couldn't be more nervous either ha.

Thank you again for all your help and I will definitely be recommending NCSA to my fellow athletes around the area. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I wanted to let you know that I will be signing with Saint Johns River Community College on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. I am being offered a full ride with them. I am very excited about the opportunity to play for Coach Atwood. I really liked the school and the other girls, and I think it's going to be a great fit for me.

I want to thank you for all of your help and support throughout my time with NCSA. You have been a lot of help, and I really appreciate what you have done for me. (I guess you can remove my profile!)

Thank you. FYI- Jazmine is excited to be attending Drake University this fall -to run track and major in graphic design and art history. You guys have been a great help. Thanks again!

Thank you Joyce. We are proud of Andrea's accomplishments and progress and are very happy she chose Dominican University. We feel she will be an asset to Coach Lukas's team as well as receive a quality education from Dominican. Thank you for your support through this whole process and look forward to our future correspondence. GO STARS!

I have recently decided to commit to University of Redlands in California. I want to thank you and the entire NCSA staff for helping me in my recruitment process- although it is a long and arduous process, you and your staff made getting exposure, talking to coaches, and putting myself in the best situation possible much easier and I will never forget this guidance. Thank you again very much.

Sincerely,

Bobby

Here’s our story:
We began our relationship with NCSA during [our son]’s sophomore year during which he started as an outfielder on the varsity baseball team at Boca Raton Community High School in Boca Raton, Florida. In ’08 the team was one of the top 32 programs in Florida 6A public high schools. [Our son] had always been a successful student posting a high grade point average. We knew that the search for the right college may lead us beyond our limited knowledge of what may be available to him. NCSA proved to be a one of our wisest partnerships. The NCSA coaches guided us to realistic possibilities and gave us the support and information we needed to be equipped throughout the process.

Because of NCSA’s help we had two very good athletic scholarship offers. Both were from quality schools and both offers were from schools that my wife and I had never heard of before and they only came to us as a result of our partnership with NCSA.

After listening to parents of athletes from our high school that had partnered with other recruiting organizations and scouts and had terrible experiences, we counted ourselves very fortunate to have found a professional, trustworthy college scouting organization that fulfilled all their promises to us and supported us through the process. We were provided the tools by NCSA that gave us the edge when communicating with college coaches so that we could accurately represent our son and ask the right questions.

Next year [our son] will be attending Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa to play baseball and gain a quality education at a very fine school. We believe this could have not gone as smoothly if we did not have a partnership with NCSA. They gave us the tools and we did the work. They did their job and we as parents did our job - but without the tools they provided, we couldn’t have done a thorough job in searching, visiting and making an informed decision.

Thank you for your help.

Darrell Fraley

My final financial aid package was a scholarship for 11,000, Grant for 4,060, and Unsubsidized Stafford Loan for 5,500. The total cost was 35,382. I will fill out the Senior report when it comes. Thank you for what you have done, it has helped me go to a great college to play football when that opportunity wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for NCSA.

Thank you Joyce for all that you have done. It truely has helped to have your service. We didn't know where to even start and your service got the ball rolling for us. Thank you again.

Karen

I received your email asking me to let you know when I contacted the Wayne State coach. I have informed him and he sent me the contract for me to sign, but I have not signed it yet.

I also wanted you to know that I really appreciate everything you have done for me and my family throughout this process. Although it still was a tough decision, you along with NCSA have helped to make this transition easy and fairly painless. I have enjoyed learning through the experiences that I have encountered along the way. I hope all is well and thank you once again for your support.

Nathan

Thanks so much for all that NCSA did to help my son get the exposure he needed to match with a great school. We could not be more thrilled with Muskingum. Go Muskies!! [Our son] was very fortunate to receive scholarships in the amount of $20K per yer for four years to attend college and play Div III football in one of the most competitive conferences, the OAC. Again, we thank you.

Renee D. Pettis

We asked others and drew blank stares. The High School coach was helpful but did not know what to do; friends and family were at a loss.
So I looked up NCSA and called. I quickly found out that we had some real contenders for scholarships but were not approaching the solution in the right way. NCSA got us steered quickly to get the NCAA Clearinghouse done, get multiple SAT and ACTs done to improve scores and told us the process to get with coaches. They took the videos and published them with the coaches and aided us in our efforts to find schools in our area.
As a proud father of athletic and academic over achievers, I grew a little concerned when we found out that we were starting the process late in the game. We had nothing to show for our previous efforts and time was short. We entered into the program and began following their guidelines. Within a matter of two weeks, we had over 20 colleges call and e-mail from Kentucky to California. MY GOD! We seemed to hit the mother load.
Stephen Weinert

I want to thank NCSA for the opportunity it gave me as it opened the doors to many colleges across the country that may not have heard of me. If you are seeking a college yourself make sure that you respond to every college that sends you a letter or calls you. If you don't you might be scratched from their list. After getting many different offers across the country I decided to stay in town and play for the Cougars at the University of Houston.

I want to wish all the players out there seeking a higher institution to play at the very best and give it your all.

Regards,
MO

Chris, thank you again. Your recruiting and coaching team of experts, especially Billy Porter, have done us both proud. Our simple investment with NCSA has given Erin a return that cannot be matched only in financial dollars, which in itself is tremendous. The lifetime return will be invaluable.

I can't even count the number of times our daughter was told in a e-mail or phone call that the coach had received her info from NCSA and wanted to let her know that they were interested. That they wanted more video and a schedule so that they could see her on person. In the end, she signed to a college that we hadn't sent anything to. Coach received her profile from NCSA and called her the second she started her new position. Meghan had spoken to 6 other coaches that day and had offers, but she visited this school 4 weeks later and the rest is history. Thank you NCSA! Meghan could have went to just about any school in the Midwest but hates the snow and cold weather, so she wanted to go south. She found the school she wanted thanks to the coach getting her info from NCSA and is now a University of Louisinana - Ragin' Cajun.

Dear Andrea,

We would like to thank everyone at NCSA for all the help and advice you gave our son. I honestly don't think he would have gotten into the school he did without your help. Mainly because of your help, we received many calls from coaches after they got your emails. And we would never have applied at some of them without those calls. Both Marie and I feel that our son has a bright future at St. Josephs. Any one that is trying to decide if this is worth the money needs to do it. Best wishes and thanks again.

Marie and Ray Stanley

We are so proud [of our daughter] that she has persevered when it would have been so much easier to quit. The life lessons she learned from two surgeries and three rehabs, swimming and academic scholarship offers are - the making of this young woman. The NCSA recruiting team and process gave her the confidence and a structured formula to go after a collegiate swimming career. It is important to have someone on YOUR side - who knows what they are doing. NCAA rules, etc. are daunting! Don’t do it alone! Seriously – do not do it alone! Not when NCSA is there to help.

Without the direction and assistance of NCSA Sports this is likely a University that we would have paid very little attention to because of our initial lack of understanding of the college recruiting process. As a parent of a student athlete I want to thank you and your organization for all your help and support during the entire process. We would likely have made the serious mistake of pursuing only Division 1 schools. We couldn't be more happy with the results.
With deepest gratitude,
Chris Gipe

Matt is enjoying his college experience a lot. As you know he chose Simpson University in Redding. It has been a good fit so far. The teacher to student ratio is excellent and for the most part his professors have been excellent in helping academically when he has had an issue. The baseball program has allowed him to work with many current and former professional ball players and coaches.

The most challenging part of the process was probably knowing which University to pick that best fit Matt. Getting the video out was excellent. Coaches that may not have ever heard of Matt contacted us. He had Div. I, II, III NCAA Schools, many NAIA Schools and two year community colleges interested in signing him. He would never have had that exposure or offers from as many institutions had it not been for the NCSA program.

The first semester was difficult in that you are adjusting from living with your parents who pretty much assisted with time management to being on your own and having to manage your time for school and practice. Many many evenings spent up late studying. The season has just started so there aren't any highlights just yet, other then going into the season as the #1 catcher as a freshman.

As every parent of a senior knows, helping your child choose the right college is a daunting task. Add to that the fact that your child dreams of playing a sport at the college level and finding the right college becomes even more difficult.

Initially we thought we would look into every college that seemed interested. Soon after the NCSA profile went out, there were more colleges interested then we could physically manage to see. We then began the process of filtering the schools and visiting the ones we thought most suited my son.

With the help of NCSA, we were able to choose a school that is just the right fit. NCSA helped us when we didn't know what to say to coaches, helped us to decipher what coaches meant by what they said to us. They helped answer questions about finances and timelines. They were with us every step of the way. The NCSA was like having our own personal assistant to help with the college process.

Robyn Martin

Hi Jeff, here's a paragraph from our family. Thanks for your helping [our son] achieve his goal!

When [our son] was a sophomore in high school, he decided he wanted to play collegiate soccer. We didn't know the best way to go about this and signed with NCSA because they offered a plan to achieve this goal for a fair cost. This turned out to be true. The scouting report, college coach contacts, activity logs, coaching sessions and knowledgeable staff all make for an organized way to pursue your goal. While NCSA provides a road map, it is up to the athlete and family to make it happen. You must decide if this is something you really want to do because if you are not committed, it's not going to happen. There is a lot more to becoming a collegiate athlete than wishful thinking or just being good at your sport. Athletes must have determination, discipline, parental support and be able to qualify for the school they want to attend. Meet all the deadlines for college board testing and for financial aid (FAFSA, academic scholarships, etc.) For many sports there is not a lot of athletic scholarship money, especially at the Div II or III and NAIA level, so you may need other aid to help pay the cost of attendance. It takes long hours on the practice field and in the classroom. Good video is a must. Be realistic about your goals and expectations. Decide what your priorities are and what kind of college experience you want (size of school, location, private or public, etc.) Visit as many schools as you can and spend the night with the team if possible. This gives you the best idea of what it would be like to play there. It's hard work but when you finally sign the letter of intent, it is rewarding experience for both student and parents! [Our son] reports to NCAA Div II Colorado State University-Pueblo this summer to begin a new adventure.

Bob and Lori Frias

Hey there,
The deciding factors were it was close so my parents could see me play, their athletic training program is top notch, and the coach and team know what they want and work hard. I want to thank you so much for everything that you have done. Your program gave me the confidence I needed to continue the recrutiing process and your advice truly helped me out. Have a great day!

Christina

Joyce,

Just had to let you know she GOT IN. WE are going to ST ANSELM’s they offered her a full ride and we couldn’t be happier. She is desperately getting ready for the new season of high school. She has been hitting all winter and throwing. She is the team captain and has assumed her duties well. Helping her fellow teammates with school ect. They have been having captain’s practices and gearing up. Season doesn’t start till March 16. Please look for us if you have a chance it’s going to be another exciting year for Ashland Softball.

Take care and thanks for caring.

Darlene Pease

I apologize for being so inactive in the NCSA process recently. With school going on and the recruiting process I have been really slammed. However, I applied Early Decision I and was accepted at the University of the South at Sewanee here in Tennessee. I am happy with this selection for Sewanee is the place I want to be academically as well as athletically. I turned in my Senior Report on NCSA last week or the week before I believe. I received the Presidential Scholarship from Sewanee worth $10,000 a year. I want to thank you and everyone else at NCSA for helping me in this process.

Matthew

I joined NCSA last June as an incoming junior and I committed four months later to UCSB.
Before I had their assistance I was basically just guessing on what to do and the whole process was confusing and hectic. After I signed up the process became clearer on what I should be doing. The hardest part was that time before September 1st when I couldnʼt receive any emails and mail from college coaches. During that time I had to make sure I kept on informing them on game times, sending information, and calling my top schools. It was all a matter on being persistent. Then my work all paid off after September 1st. I received emails and mail from many schools including my top two schools, Pepperdine and UCSB. It was a hard decision to make, but I ended up giving a verbal commitment to attend UCSB in 2010.
I am really excited about going to UCSB because as a social girl, I love the beach and atmosphere there. One of the other things I am excited about is a year and a half more of not having to worry about college.

Hi, I would like to thank the NCSA for their help in finding me a school and getting a scholarship. Last week I signed a letter of intent to Winona State University. So I am done with the recruiting process thank you.

We signed our National Letter of Intent today @ 10:00am @ Allen HS Athletic Facility We are now official Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rangers!!!!!
Out of 25 Scholarships I was the only student athlete to receive a dull scholarship in Football/Baseball. Futhermore, I was the only one to have a Coach and University Sports Information photographer from my University present at the signing.
My family was so proud. We can't thank NCSA enough for saving us $125,000 for my education and the opportunity to play at the next level!!!!!
We will tell everybody that this is worth the investment and that nobody should try to get recruited without NCSA!!
You are the best!
Thanks again.
Calvin

Hi, Amanda!

How wonderful to hear from you! Our involvement with NCSA was critical to us as you may remember from the many phone calls back and forth to get information, advice, feedback, and "coaching" through the process. You, in particular, were a tremendous resource and help on so many occasions.

Please pass this word around, After only one month of service, I have been very happy, this is a great program, Keep up the good work. Thanks

Alex signed with Dartmouth yesterday.

Thank you for all that your firm has done on his behalf.

Regards,

We are pleased to announce that our son signed yesterday with Colordo State University - Pueblo. Thank you for all your help to get him here!

Lisa
Thank you for the e-mail. I would like to thank all of you at NCSA on behalf of my wife and myself. You were very instrumental in the opportunity that has been presented to our son. WE are very thankful to have a wonderful and talented student athlete for a son and the help of you and all your associates. We look forward to hearing from you and will keep you updated on his college career. Once again thank you very much for all you have done.

Jim Bunting

Thanks for the note, Lisa. We have been very happy with our support from you and the team at NCSA. I have been very satisfied with the results so far! Happy Holidays to you and your team, and their families!

Hi Lisa,

Happy holidays.

I am very please to inform you that our daughter has been accepted early decision to Pomona College and will be playing basketball there. Thank you for the help your organization has been given us, and I am sure her acceptance to such a first rated liberal art college is the result of her basketball skill and the way you presented her to the head coach.

We will update our monthly report soon.

Thank you
Gustin Ho, M.D.

Amanda,

Sorry for not getting a back to you. I have recently been recruited to play lacrosse at Gettysburg College, and received my acceptance letter on Saturday (12/6/08) Thank you for all that you and NCSA did for me. Many coaches found out about me from NCSA.

Best wishes,
JT

Rick, this is Buzzy Stephens. I saw this on [my son]'s email and he is out right now. I think once he got toward the end of the recruiting he did not update his profile info as he should have. He was offered by several Division 2 schools, a D1AA school, and alot of D3 schools. We visited a number of the schools over the Fall and Winter. He made the decision to attend and play football at Centre College(D3) in Kentucky. They gave him an endowment that made it possible for him to attend such a great school that we could not afford to send him to otherwise. We all really liked the coaches and [my son] really enjoyed his overnight visit with some of the football players. He is working out now to get ready for Summer practice and we feel very blessed and confident that he is headed to the right football program and school education. Thank you so much for all you guys did to help us. We received emails, phone calls, etc from at least 50 schools and he was in conversation with alot of schools from 1AA to D3.with one D1A school also showing interest from his play at the Nike Camp in Athens last Spring. Almost all of the contact would not have happened without your service however. It was a very enjoyable experience for all of us and he is going into his college career with alot of confidence and great experience from all of the conversations with coaches and players over the past year.
Thanks again for everything!
Buzzy Stephens

Dear Rick,
I have made my decision and I am going to Beloit College in Wisconsin. I went and visited three schools that I really like and Beloit turned out to be the better fit for me. I think their offense is one that I will be very familiar with and will prosper greatly. Also they are among the top 50 schools in the country academically which played a big role in my decision. Mainly the reason I chose Beloit was because when I went and visited the school I felt very comfortable there. It gave me a sense of home and I just fell in love with it. I want to thank all the people at the NCSA who made this possible and I am very grateful that an organization like yours exists. Once again thank you for everything.
Sincerely,
Brian

Dear Rick,

I have made a decision and I have committed to North Park University in Chicago. I want to thank you for everything you and NCSA have done for me and my family. I don’t believe that any of this would have been possible without you. Thank you for allowing me to find a great fit at North Park and allowing me to live my dream of playing college football. I know that my family feel the same way.

Sincerely,
Evan

Dear Coach Webb,
First I would like to apologize for being late for our call. It will not happen again. Second, I want you to realize that I want to be the leader of my football team more than anything. I am willing to work hard on anything that will improve my athletic ability. I am making a summer plan to make this happen. I will continue to work hard in the classroom and on the field.
Chase

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your email.

We appreciate the efforts and communication that NCSA has provided and told many people about our experiences, all of which have been positive. Ultimately, [our son] has not chosen to pursue varsity athletics but NCSA opened the door to many schools that we would never have known about. My other two sons are serious hockey players and the process is different in many ways from soccer and other mainstream sports.

Mitch Perry

Hey Joyce,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I've been really really busy getting with the end of the school year and graduation. However I'm finally done!! I have decided on a school, next year I am going to Calvin College in Grand Rapids. I plan on swimming there with their team. I look forward to this fall. Thank you so much for all you have done through this recruiting process. You have helped me find the best school for next year. Thanks a bunch. Enjoy your summer!

-Briana

Thank you for all your help over the years on trying to find the right school for me. I am glad to say I finally made a decision. I am going to attend Alma College in the fall and play softball. Once again thank you for opening so many doors of opportunity for me!!
Emily

HEY HEY HEY!!! I WANTED TO THANK EVERYONE THAT WORKS FOR THE NCSASPORTS ORGANIZATION!!! You all have been of tremendous help and I've decided to go to PALOMAR COLLEGE and play for Coach Jennum, for my first two years in San Diego and then after that I will transfer to play D1 college bball in California!!! All of your services have been great and I will continue to use them in the next two years when I transfer to play D1 at a major University. Thank you so much again and I'll be talking to you......
Sincerely,
Melanie

My son graduated in 2006 and I apologize for taking so long to say "Thanks a bunch for all your organization did for us". He received 2 very good offers at D3 schools but in the end, turned them down to go to IOWA. He loves the bigger school environment and is still very involved with all sports. I still consider him a success story even though he no longer plays organized sports. Being able to see the "Big Picture" before you ever enroll is really tough and I commend your people as well as the Coaches we dealt with for helping him see that the choice he made was just as important while probably more difficult than agreeing to play basketball at their institutions. I will always feel that the time and resources we invested with NCSA was a real bargain and I continue to recommend your organization to all my friends and their kids. Keep up the good work.

Dave Roeske

Thank you very much. You were a very good resource and you guided me through a very difficult process. Thanks I don't know if I could have done it without you.

Thanks again

Connor

Steve and Alan,

Thank you both for your work in helping Liza and me find the structure through NCSA to help our son connect with Head Soccer Coach Steve Barrett at Concord University in Athens WV. Thankfully, he was offered “enough” soccer and academic scholarships for him to keep his soccer dream alive. While the process was intense and time consuming, I really enjoyed it and came to also realize quickly that there are so many folks “out there” that meet the standards, but do not know how or what to do to match their child with a college coach.

David H. England

Matt,
Thank your for all of your time and help. My mom would also like to thank you for the help with negotiating between schools. She was able to use some of these pointers to get a revised award. The new offer was $800 more than what they had originally sent. Although it still did not match another school's offer, there were many more factors with this school that made me want to attend than any other.
As for this baseball season, we just won conference this past weekend and finished with a 24-8 record. Regionals start tomorrow and the championship will be on Saturday should we win our first game.
I also have one new contact on the recruiting form and will be sending that. We also made contact back to the school and let them know that we have already commit to another school.
Thanks again for all of your help, it has been greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Ben

Carly had her second coaching session with Andrea Emmons yesterday. I wanted to thank Andrea for the time spent answering a lot of questions and preparing Carly (and me, her mom) for her first unofficial college visit to University of Central Florida this weekend while she is practicing volleyball with the Southeastern Florida High Performance Team. Andrea - it was very helpful and Carly is excited and positive!

Hi Matt,
I just wanted to share our good news that [our son] will be playing for UIC next year. I also want to thank you very much for all your help and for being so responsive to every request we made. To date, we have responded to every e-mail [our son] received from a coach after you sent his scouting report out. He didn't fill out the correspondence log for everyone; let us know if you need this done and we will be happy to complete it.
Please let us know if we should do anything further as it relates to NCSA.
Again, thanks for everything!
Pete and Therese Kammholz

Dear Chris Krause,

How are you doing? I am Krystle, a Senior at Regina Dominican High school. I am also close to Coach Veenema. I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am to you and NCSA. Without you I would not have some of the opportunities for great schools to recognize and recruit me. The scouting coaches where a huge help. They gave me packets on how recruiting works and the also told me what to do when certain decisions were to be made.

I was not only able to learn more about basketball and go through a great experience. I also was able to make my life long dream come true. I have always wanted to play college ball. Now thanks to the options that NCSA made open for me, I will be playing at the University of Dubuque.

Again I would like to say thank you for offering the NCSA services free of charge. Thank you! Your kindness will not be forgotten!

Sincerely,

Krystle

Coach McDole,
David's Dad here. David has been accepted at all seven colleges he applied to. He has been offered academic scholarships between $8,000 and $13,000 per year from six of them. The scholarship and financial aid package he got from Macalester College in St. Paul Mn is in excess of $20,000 per year renewable for four (4) years. He has verbally told the coach (Jennison) he will attend Mac this fall. I will have David call you with the details. Thank you for getting David in touch with Mac and Hamline in Mn. I truly believe that Mac increased there financial aid package knowing that Hamline was also interested in David.
Your service was invaluable to us if for nothing else than the education you provided us about the recruiting process. The tools you provided along with sizing David up both academically as well as athletically so he would look at the appropriate schools was point on!
David will benefit from a first class education at Mac. He was one of ~400 accepted of almost 6,000 freshman applicants. I am sure that he / we would not have been aware of this fine school or it's athletic program without your service. We are grateful for the assistance you provided. Again, thank you!
Sincerely,
David's Dad, David

Dear Recruiting Coach Amanda Rawson,
I have been talking to and exchanging information with the coach at University of Saint Mary. I have decided to go and play at the University of Saint Mary. Thank You for so much you have done it's a great privilege you have exposed me to and I am happy and excited, it's a dream come true. I appreciate everything and keep doing up the great work you and your program does.
Thank you,
Charliandra

Rick,

Thank you for congratulating me on my final and successful decision. But I want to take this time to apologize for not responding to any emails or correspondence logs as often as I used to. I've just been caught up with school, family tragedies and making critical college decisions. I'm finally starting to feel the emotional and physical effects of 4 years of high school without taking a break. However, that isn't a excuse to procrastinate and put off on important events and issues. I'm an adult now and I must take action to the responsibilities that were bestowed upon me.

Other then that, I'm ready for college. It's been a long trip but I'm finally here and I'm happy with where I'm at. I have made critical decisions with the whole recruiting process, and it was not easy. I started out with a hand full of Division I schools, then it became a pocket full of Division II and NAIA schools, but I ended up with a sea full of Division III schools. Over the months I was planning and contemplating on which schools are right for me. Division I schools went out of the picture because of my on field injury, scholarships being pulled, not enough money being presented, and just because the plain fact that I didn't want my education to be owned by a football team. I want to attend college, get a good education and just so happen to play football. I view Division I and II schools are for those who want to play professionally and make sports their career. My desire to play for the NFL or any organization has diminished over the past few years. I feel that I can do better with another career that I will pursue in college. Which leads me to my conclusion by getting accepted at Rockford College. I felt this was a perfect fit for me based on my current goals and situation. I'm familiar with the staff, football team, and the community. Every time I step onto the campus, a feeling on serenity engulfs me and I feel like I've never left home. Who would of thought that the first college to ever contact me would be the college I would attend?

I remember the first time we met, I was this 15 year old small-framed sophomore whose weight room and on-field statistics were below average. I sit here now at 18, twice my original size and boasting an average of 60 tackles and 7 sacks a season with weight room numbers as high as 600 for squatting and 330 for benching, breaking school records from left to right. Never in my life would I have thought that I can get as far as I did today, making the achievements I've made and meeting the goals I've set. Individual recognition is far-fetched. I wouldn't of made it half way without the support and insight of you and others that assisted me in my journey of playing the game and getting into college. You might feel that I give you too much praise, but I take my education and career very seriously. I just feel in debt to anyone who accommodates to it.

With that said, I thank you for all you have done for me and my family and I will keep in touch with you in the near future, and hopefully many years to come.

--Brandon

Dear Mr. Webb Thank you for letting me be involved on this conference call about communicating with coaches. I learned a lot of new information from it to help me in the future. Coach Chmiel was inspiring. Thank you for the opportunity. George

I'm sure if I told you thanks for all of your help during the college recruiting process. I will say it wasn't easy and with your help you guided us through the process and helped make college recruiting a little easier.
You have a great organization and with NCSA helping us we were able to help Allie continue her dream which is to play college hockey.
Thanks for everything.
Don Frank

Thanks a bunch, Lisa. We surely appreciate everything and I believe you all are true professionals.

Lana Petersen

Thanks for this call. It gives us some new direction on how to be proactive and we will now make personal contacts to schools that we have sincere interest in as well as keeping in touch with the schools that have contacted us already. We appreciate the tips on what to say, ask etc. We will work hard over the next week to make some personal communications to various schools to see if this will open some new doors.

Thanks, again Joyce.
Kortney

Hi Coach, Thanks for everything. Things are rolling right along, again thank you for standing with me in my recruiting process.
Adidas

NCSA has helped us to understand and place things into proper order. We realize we are late in the process, having NCSA has also helped to ease a lot of nerves (smile). Their friendly voices on the line during call sessions are very professional and yet, at the same time very comforting. As parents we want the best for our children and we feel NCSA is on the same page with us as parents. To the staff of NCSA, Thank you can't be said enough, continue helping families you are making a difference. Thank You!

The de Haas Family

Lisa,

Since my season has ended, I have been moving back into my house and looking for a job. I was very impressed with what the school had to offer and the hockey program as well. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. Without your assistance I would not have been able to find the school fit for me.

Reid

Matt Webb,

Thank you for all of your support. I will continue to email and call coaches all over the country. Have an outstanding day.
Troy

Amanda,

The NCSA video is awesome! You did an excellent job and we are very happy with the result.

Thank you,
Cindy

Thank you! I'm really very excited to be going there next year. Everything really seemed to be the right fit. I'm not receiving any financial aid, but Coach did support me through admissions and I know I'll be playing next year. Thank you so much for all of your help. Weil was one of the great coaches that did find me through your website!
Ava

Thank you so much! You have all been great and i'm excited to get everything going!

Dustin

I can't tell you how much we love the College Search tool on your website. We've picked out close to 100 schools based on initial selection criteria, and are in the process of narrowing that list down somewhat. Riley has also been completing the Student Athlete questionnaires for various schools as you suggested. We hope to send you an initial list of colleges soon, with all of the above information as well.

Thanks again for the reminder. We appreciate the job that you do in helping Riley to be recruited.

Best regards,

Julie

I thought that I should let you know that I have signed with Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. They contacted me directly after one of the send outs of my profile. You have done everything that we could have asked of you and more.

Cavan

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago, I spent the night at Washington College and enjoyed everything about it. The team was great and it was just a tremendous atmosphere. After giving it a lot of thought, I called Coach Streelman a few and gave him my commitment to Washington College.

I just wanted to say thank you for everything NCSA has done for me throughout the recruiting process. Without you guys, I probably never would have known about Washington. I can't thank you enough. I'm really looking forward to attending Washington and once again, thank you.

A satisfied recruit,
Matt

NCSA,

I was very confused about the whole recruiting process when I came to find the NCSA program. I didn't know what to do first, or next. I relied on my recruiting coach, Mr. McDole, to help me along the way. Even though talking through email is the slowest way of talking period, we got to discuss my problems and he gave me the information I needed to know to be able to find the college for me. The main thing that NCSA helped me with in the recruiting process is the Virtual Tryout. The highlight film is the main attraction for coaches now. It's so amazing how just sending the coaches the film can get them interested in the player. I was discovered after a little time waiting, and found Geneva College to play football for and continue my education. Thanks NCSA for helping me realize how to continue on right in life and making my future bright!!

Rick,

I Just wanted to thank you guys for all of the hard work of getting my information out there. Without NCSA I had never heard of Wayne State before. Thanks for helping my family and I through the recruiting process.

-Cyle.

I just would like to inform you that I signed my "Letter of Intent" on Feb 6th and committed to play Field Hockey at Monmouth University.

Thanks for all your help for the past 4 years!
-Theresa

Thanks again Andrea, for all of your advice and help.

I know now that [our daughter] would be running somewhere on a track scholarship even if we hadn't signed up with NCSA, due to how well she has performed, BUT I doubt we would have rec'ed the package we did from a division one Big Ten university, and I never would have had the confidence to negotiate or known where my daughter stood, or what was important, or even what I had to know and when without your help and advice.

Thank you,
Jerry Marzejon

Kevin,

Thank you so much for all that you have done but I have made up my mind and have committed to Indiana University of South Bend. My family and I really like everything that they have to offer and I am positive that is where I want to play. I signed my letter of intent and received a full scholarship there. You and everyone at NCSA have been GREAT thank you so much. I will highly recommend NCSA to everyone. Thank you once again.

Shane

Hi Andrea,

We wanted to tell you that we are very proud to announce that Meghan verbally committed to the University of Louisiana’s “Ragin’ Cajuns” Saturday. [our daughter] loved the campus, the team, the city and of course, the coach. They really support the team. Coach Mazaitis said that she received her profile from NCSA. She said that she usually does not pay attention to recruiting services but that NCSA is a reputable company and only handles good athletes so she opened up the e-mail. She could not believe that [our daughter] wasn’t signed when she watched her video. She called us three weeks ago and the rest is history! She said that it was a smart move for us to have signed with you, otherwise she never would have seen [our daughter] this year. So, we owe you and your organization a huge thank you! Geux Cajuns!

Lee Harrison

Good Afternoon Lisa,
Thank you for all of your assistance, the process in applying for college has drastically changed since I did my undergraduate admission. Your organization has been most helpful and I look forward to keeping in touch as Desiree progresses to the next level.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Claudette A. Lanneaux

Hi,

Thanks for everything this program is great I would have never found some of the schools that I have found through here, and they are all great matches.

Thanks again,

Jessica

Hi Adrienne,
I can tell you that we have definitely been impressed with your service - you did deliver what you promised, you've been good communicators, your site is good, and you gave [our son] opportunities - it's been a very good investment, thanks! We will be big proponents of NCSA in the future. We have already been asked and told people about you.

Take care,
Dave & Debra Dietrich

Dear Coach Lisa,
The video is great! Two coaches already viewed it (Lindenwood and UW-Madison). The coach from UW-Madison club team even said that by the video, he sees that I should have no trouble keeping up with his team. This process is so exciting! Thanks for everything.

Hi Adrienne,

I wanted to thank you for the help you have given me as I have been invited to try out at Lewis and Clark College and even if I don't play soccer there I really, really love that school... with out them contacting me for soccer I never would have even heard about them. So, thanks for you help!

Lindsey

Hi NCSA,
Thank you very much for everything so far! I can't wait to have my coaching session with Matt Webb. I appreciate the good service you guys offer. Have a great night everybody.
Troy

Alan,

Please know that I highly value your services and found them incredibly useful. I wish I had known about you guys earlier in my HS career! The organized approach to being recruited was incredibly helpful and did help me make a final decision. Please feel free to have anyone contact me about the value of these services -- I give them very high marks!!

Grant

Alan,

Evan has made a college decision and after an Official Visit to the University of North Florida, he committed and will sign his letter of intent on Feb. 6. We think this is a great fit for Evan -- academically and socially, up-and-coming D1 program, expectation that he'll come in as a freshman and start/see significant minutes, etc.

Thank you for all your help and advice over these recent months. We appreciate it.

Ron

Hey Alan,

I just wanted to tell you that I was accepted into the University of Rochester and am planning on playing soccer for them next year. I appreciate everything you and NCSA has done for my family and I and I hope to talk to you soon.

Thanks,
Alexander

Dear Andrea and staff,

Thank you very much for all the hard work you have put into helping Kendall find the right fit for her College education and track and field experience. A year contract was a perfect amount of time to research and interact with many of the higher learning institutions in the United States. It gave us a great feel for all of the different campuses throughout the US and helped to develop some great relationships with different coaches. I would recommend NCSASPORTS to anyone wanting to give their student-athlete the best exposure possible. It was a great way to see [our daughter] track all the contacts, making her final decision much easier.

Thank you very much
John Morris

Hi Coach Luckett & Coach Dinsmore,
Please let me take this opportunity to express my appreciation and extreme satisfaction with your recruiting services. The past year’s journey has been a rewarding experience for my college search efforts as a student–athlete. I feel you and your staff worked hard to put my player profile out to the schools and together, we accomplished more than I had imagined The virtual tryout production, my player profile, resume, and NCSA support all proved to be contributing factors for the recruiting process at Clarkson. So, please make it a point to express my appreciation to the rest of your staff, and accept a personal thank you for your continued support.
Daniel

I feel my fit at Creighton is a good one. However, it is great to know that NCSA will be with me until I graduate college. You have become my security blanket. Currently, I've received $16,000.00 in scholarships from Creighton with a guaranteed 4% increase each year. Additionally, I have a chance for another scholarship through the business college that is still pending. Thanks for everything- your organization has been a life-saver!

Matt Luckett,
Through NCSA my son was given the opportunity to try out for the Meramac Juco baseball team and after the tryout, Mike was offered a full ride to play baseball. I just want to say thanks to NCSA for providing a great service. Thanks again!

Jim King

Thanks again for all the prayers and postive thoughts. Very special thanks to Edgar Manvelyian (BHS trainer/coach), who was so supportive of her decision and Adrienne Treado of NCSA Sports in Chicago, who provided such great insight and guidance.
See you on the field.
Sincerely,
Mark

It helped a lot. As soon as my profile hit colleges, I had replies right away. Actually the first college that they sent my profile to is the one I selected. Now I am going to college to play soccer and get an education for free. Thanks to NCSA!! I would recommend this to anyone. This is a great site and very helpful in getting student-athlete's recognized by colleges. Very helpful!! Thanks to them I am going to play for a team who made it to the National Championship this year. Thanks again NCSA!!!

NCSA helped me tremendously in my dream of playing college hockey. They gave me their full support and experience to guide me through my recruiting process. Their perseverance was reassuring and everyday I would have an e-mail to update me on my process. I never felt alone or abandoned by them and their hard work made me feel tranquil about my decisions. If I had a question lingering in my mind I never hesitated to ask and I received an answer promptly from NCSA. Because of them, I am going to play college hockey where I wanted, and at the school I wanted. Thank you for everything you did for my family and me!! I can't wait to start my college hockey career!!

Chris,

It has been a pleasure working with Adrienne Treado. She has done an excellent job for us. She has been available, knowledgeable, very dependable, and always giving us great advice. NCSA moved our timeline up at least a year and took a lot of the pressure off of [our daughter] (and us). We will highly recommend your service. Thanks to your phenomenal team. We always felt that we were in good hands.

Terri Colachis

Ryan,
Thank you so much for your time. This program and the professionalism your organization presents sure makes a parent feel like there is hope.
Michael Dent

Thank you guys very much, it is going fantastic so far.
Christian

Thank you very much for your concern, it really means a lot. But we are doing well and haven't been drastically affected by the ice storms. Your concern shows great dedication to your work and clients and is a very nice thing to see.

Take care and happy holidays!

Regards,
Preet and Menka

Hi Lisa,
This is Anton from Sweden and you helped me to to come to America and Cal State L.A. earlier this year. I wanna say that I'm really thankful and glad for the help you provided me with and I enjoy the life in Los Angeles.

Best regards
Anton

Amanda,

I think everyone on our end is pretty clear on what will be happening in the next few months of this process, thanks in large part to Kellen and Ryan. I am excited to get started and see what opportunities NCSA can provide for me. Thanks again for your help.

Evan

Ryan,

Just wanted to let you know what is going on with me. I received my 9th letter this week. My parents are really pleased with the response that we have received and so am I.

Again, thanks for all you help.

Drew

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the coaching session with Cole. Very impressive - a good balance of constructive suggestions to get him on the right path. You are a good communicator – Cole is fortunate to have you as his coach.
Steve Huntley

Coach Wells,
Thanks for the orientation call. I really think you helped my mom out alot and it really helped with understanding more of the recruiting process. you taught us both more in 2 minutes about recruiting than what I tried to get from my coach in the last 2 years! Its nice to know your on our side now.
Eric

The amount of interest Ryan received from so many schools as a result of the bio and highlight tape NCSA provided to schools was fantastic! Thanks for all your help and if, by chance, Wilkes does not work out we will be sure to reach out to NCSA again (and also for my younger son when he reaches high school).

Happy holidays!
Gary & Ryan

Amanda,

Thanks again for NCSA's generousity. Can't begin to even explain how much this means to our family. What a wonderful organization. It's an organization that truly cares about the kids -- not just the bottom line. How refreshing. We will forever be singing your praises to others.

Take care,
Pam

Thanks, Kellen, for all your work and that of NCSA so far. I am most impressed with the scope of your organization, and what it means as far as the possibility of Stephanie receiving potential offers. Thanks also for the words of advice to Steph. Although she hears it a lot from her parents, friends, classmates and coaches, she really doesn't hear it from a third party.
Appreciate all you're trying to do to help!
Paul Goldbeck

Kellen
Thank You and the whole team at ncsa for all your help

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the note. I signed my letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. They just got a new coaching staff that I really like and I am also fulfilling my dream of playing division 1 basketball. Everything seemed to fit in to place for me at UMKC. Academics, athletics, the campus, and many other things. Thanks for helping me through the process.

Sincerely,
Dustin

Kevin,
I do not know if Lauren has emailed you but she has signed with West Point!!

Hi Kevin,
[Our son] signed Wednesday with Clemson University. We wanted to thank you and NCSA for getting his name out there initially. And continuing to do so even after the D1s started to take notice of his abilities. We will always see NCSA as one of our wisest decisions through this difficult recruiting time. Thank you once again

Amanda,

Thanks again for NCSA's generosity. Can't begin to even explain how much this means to our family. What a wonderful organization. It's an organization that truly cares about the kids -- not just the bottom line. How refreshing. We will forever be singing your praises to others.

Take care,
Pam

Ms. Adamovsky,

Thank you so much for your help so far. If and when I have a question, I have no doubt in my mind that you will respond with a nice email explaining things in detail. You have been nothing but help thus far, and it means a lot. Thanks again. Have a great day as well.

Hi Kate,

Thanks for all your help. To say the least I'm very impressed with the coaching sessions. You make my job much easier. I wish I had enlisted NCSA for my older child.

Matt,

I can't thank you enough for everything you and NCSA have done for my daughter Morgan.

As you can imagine Morgan has received a great deal of very positive media attention recently - in addition to some scrutiny of her past and current achievements. We will keep you updated and sincerely appreciate all of your hard work and effort on behalf of Morgan.

Jeff

Hi Andrea,

Thanks for this great information to help get Allegra started in searching for a new school and for re-activating our account. I remember one of the selling features we liked of your service was that it was good for the full four years she was in college.

We look forward to working with you again.

Thank You!

Hello!

I am SO sorry I haven't kept up with all of you and NCSA and my commitment with Missouri Western State University! It's been absolutely crazy ever since I gave my verbal and I don't know where the time has gone!

I just wanted to let you know that I signed my letter of intent today! It was very exciting and I am so happy with my choice.

I also want to thank you all and the rest of NCSA for all that you have done to help make this possible. I know that my journey doesn't end here but this is a huge step for me and I appreciate your services 100%!

Thank you again for everything!

Brittany

Thank you for all the help you given me!!!

Cortney

Hey Andrea,

Just wanted to touch base with you now that Sandra's first season is over and let you know how things went. She absolutely loved it at USC-Upstate and really just fit in well. It was a great fit for her both athletically and academically and it seemed like every week of the season Sandra was calling home excited about something new. She really excelled much more on the volleyball court than we ever expected her to this first year and I really believe that the majority of that is because this was just the school she needed to be at. I have included a page from the school website and a write-up from one of the web pages at the school. We can't thank you enough for your help in getting Sandra to this point. She is looking forward to starting the off-season workout schedule and getting herself ready to really "bring it" next year.

Thank you so so so very much!!
Erin

Thank you Andrea.
We really liked having NCSA by our side. You shined light into all the dark areas on the process that was foreign to us and gave us confidence when we were starting to feel down from the recruiting game.

Coryn

I'm so excited to get this process rolling. You guys are doing a great job.
Thank you
Crystal

Thank you! We’ve been studying the NLI website! Looks like she I getting close!

Thanks or the info! Your service is well worth the money.

Thanks again!

JAMI

Amanda,

Thanks for all of your hard work. It seems that Emily is definitely choosing to end her softball career. She has applied to Kennesaw State University and been accepted. She has also applied to University of Georgia, early action. She is planning to apply, also, to Georgia College and State, University of West Georgia and Shorter College. She has been working in a local elementary classroom for an hour a day and says she has found her true passion.

Your organization has been tremendous in helping us just with our college timelines. We have recommended your services to many. I hope those recommendations are beneficial to your company. We ended our season last evening with our fastpitch banquet, many tears shed and memories shared.

Thank you, again.
Kristen

Hi Amanda,
I am pleased to inform you that yesterday I signed to the University of Iowa with an 80% swimming scholarship. Today I sent the papers back to them. I visited Ohio State University, University of Iowa, University of Missouri, and the University of Wyoming. I was offered scholarships from all four schools, ranging from 50% at Ohio to 100% at Wyoming.
When my mother contacted NCSA last spring we had no idea that I would improve as much as I did this summer. I was contacted by schools all across the country by phone, internet, and by mail. I had so many contacts I did not know how to fill out my correspondence log online and it seemed to me that most of the schools contacting me were calling my coach to find information, as she used to be a college swimming coach. I tried to contact NCSA by phone once all offers had been made by schools, mainly to talk about which one to take but I knew that I wanted to go to school at the University of Iowa.
Thank you for your help in starting my recruiting process.
Paul

Dear Amanda,

Aurora will be signing her National Letter of Intent to swim for Centenary College in Shreveport, LA tomorrow. She will receive a combined athletic and academic scholarship worth 50% of the annual costs, a total of $60,000 over 4 years. That is a very good return on your fee of $2000. I am very pleased with NCSA efforts and believe you were a big part of helping Aurora find this school. I had never heard of Centenary College before but it is Division I, has a male team and very strong academically which is everything that Aurora wanted. I will be glad to talk to other swim parents who have questions about your services and results. Thanks again for your help.

Sincerely, Mark

Amanda,

We sincerely appreciate you ongoing help you have provided. Thanks!

The Arvizo Family

Hi Amanda,

I wanted to let you know that Alex has committed to and been admitted to Bucknell University. She is very excited that she will be going to Bucknell and playing Division 1 golf.

Thank you and everyone at NCSA for all your help.

Regards,

Russ

Thanks for everything Amanda. I know you will be with me until I graduate from college. However, I feel Creighton will be a good fit.

Austin

Hi Lisa,

It's great to hear from you - it brings back a lot of very happy and exciting (and yes, stressful) memories when we were going through this the first time! And even though we know you guys are good, we were still very pleasantly surprised by the fact that most of the programs that are contacting us/you are those that have very high-profile soccer programs (in other words, NCAA qualifier potential) - so CJ's more excited now than she was when we first started talking about her transfer. However, her best soccer friend/teammate at WJU is "threatening" her with bodily harm if she moves over to IUP - but that's only because IUP has beaten WJU every time they've played them! (grin)

Adrienne has been fantastic to talk to and work with, and we know that this process will have a very successful outcome, as did our first one - one that we will just add to the ongoing story of our fabulous experiences as members of NCSA!

There's so much to be grateful for, it's hard to know where to start!

Warmest Wishes,
Brian, Jini & CJ

Mr. Yost.

I'm excited to tell you that I have received my first offer! Hopefully this is only the first of many. I just wanted to thank you for your help with getting me recruited.

~Chris

Hi Alan -

First of all, I want to let you know I thought the coaching session about the financial aid process last night was amazing. I was electrified - totally empowered and confident when we ended the call. So thank you for inviting us to participate. We'll definitely submit the survey for you.

Thank You!
Della

Alan,

The Fafsa call was very very helpful to my family and I. Thanks!

Kyle

Hi Alan:

Thanks for the great session tonight. It was extremely helpful.
Thanks

Hi Alan
I looked at the pictures that Brady's dad sent, and liked the one that you already used best. the one's sent to you are all brady as solitary player. he looks good but they are not that exciting to me.

thanks for your help. btw, the U.S. Naval Academy called me about brady, they saw him at Nomads and "were very impressed". very nice.

Beth

I would like you to know that I played in 16 of the 17 Varsity games and played in all of the JV games. For Varsity I also had atleast 15 shots on goal and I had atleast 20 for JV and 4 assists in the JV season (and only one for Varsity). I will also be going to an ODP practice on the 10th of December and I will tell you how it goes once I am done. I appreciate your help in this proccess and I will talk to you soon.

Thank You,
Erik

I am very busy fitting in all the contacts with my school work and soccer, and now basketball, while trying to visit and apply to colleges. I guess its a good kind of busy though! Very happy with all that NCSA has done for me in helping with my recruiting process!

Thank you
Tayler

Hi, Adrienne.

We're pleased: Ian has begun hearing from some schools that are obviously getting his info from NCSA! :)

Thanks for your help!

Carol

Hey Coach Treado,

I have decided that I am not going to play soccer in college anymore. It was a hard decision but I believe it is best for me. I have pretty much picked a college and am sure that I want to go to the University of Louisiana at Monroe. My decision was based on the time that I would have for school work along with soccer. The work load would probably be too much for me. I am so grateful for all your help and I really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Hannah

Hi Adrienne,

I just wanted to let you know that i have committed to a college for soccer. I have committed to Cal State San Bernardino. Just to let you know thank you for everything on helping me get recruited.

Jaclyn

Hi Lisa,

I am taking the ACT with writing on Sat. Wish me luck! I was So excited to see that I was Impact Athlete of the Month! Thank you for assisting me.

Casie

Hi Coach Webb,

Thanks for everything. You helped me a lot with what to say to coaches. I really appreciated your help. I tried to fill out the survey again and I could not get it. Sorry. You may send me another one and I will try again. Thanks again for everything. Talk to you soon.

Jordan

Hi Alan -

First of all, I want to let you know I thought the coaching session about the financial aid process last night was amazing. I was electrified - totally empowered and confident when we ended the call. So thank you for inviting us to participate. We'll definitely submit the survey for you.

The reason I writing, however, is because I'd like some advise from you based on your experience in working with perspective student athletes over the years.

After a lifetime of playing soccer with an expressed dream of continuing to play soccer in college, John told to me the other evening (when we were talking about following up with calls, applications, deadlines, etc.) that he wasn't sure if he wanted to play soccer in college anymore. He didn't state a reason why but did say that is why he hasn't started making calls to coaches. His Dad and I are deeply concerned.

We believe John's statement, and thus inactivity in taking the next critical steps in calling the coaches to request visits to begin to build the necessary rapport, may stem from a lifelong anxiety he has had in talking with or introducing himself to people he doesn't know (or barely knows). All his life, John has been invited to play or just shown up when told and has never had to work at getting himself on a good team. Building the relationships with coaches and teammates after that has always been easy and natural for him. He is loved by his coaches and teammates and has solid friendships with them (and classmates) as a result. Leaving home for the first time is scary enough, but to also have to seek a relationship before he goes is overwhelming him - we believe. Obviously this is something he has to deal with, but his pride does not acknowledge this and his Dad and I are extremely worried he'd give up a precious opportunity because of his fear of making the effort. And, unfortunately we can't do it for him.

Your advise is therefore requested. Have you had experience with placing student athletes in the past that are excellent students and athletes but are shy, reserved, introverted, or otherwise anxious about proactively putting themselves out there? If so, what was the strategy to get them past it? And is there anything the NCSA can do to help facilitate personal introductions with the coaches for athletes with these types of traits or we as parents to ensure a successful outcome (i.e. John receiving offers to play at the colleges of his choice).

I would welcome a telephone call to discuss this if you are available in the near future.

Thank you!

Della

Thank you for your great advice. We plan to email a number of coaches and see where we stand with them. We'll keep you posted.

Leslie

Another great job this month. I enjoyed my visits and I am still very pleased with the amount of contacts I have received. Thanks!

Tyler

Dear Lisa,Thank you for your inforamtion regarding the NCAA rules of scholarships. I knew when we heard this information that if I wanted to know the real truth I could just ask you guys.

Cameron

Kevin, thanks for the info. Just what I needed! I thought I would go to the source to that knows!

John

On behalf of Megan and all of the other athletes you are assisting, thanks for all of your efforts!
