Mallory Sosnovich

For all basketball players in their junior season, this is a time to focus on your academics and improve your skills — this is the year that matters most. One student-athlete who takes this to heart is 2010 Grad, Mallory Sosnovich from Clarendon Hills, Illinois. Sosnovich attends Montini High School and they have come off a 3rd place finish at state last year. Sosnovich also advanced to the semifinals in the Queen of the Hill 3-pt shootout.
Currently, Sosnovich is in the thick of season and averaging 7.4 PPG, with her best game at 22 points. She is shooting 85% from the field and 39% behind the 3-pt line. Hitting the books, she is maintaining a 3.37 GPA while taking honors classes and finding time to do volunteer work.
Sosnovich says, “I want to continue to play competitive athletics..I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field.”
As she embarks on the last summer before her final stretch in high school, we look forward to the good things to come because, as Sosnovich knows, luck is when opportunity meets preparation.
