Senior Russell Burns is a 6'5" Guard and Forward from Bolingbrook, IL, who has been named Impact Athlete of the Month. Burns is a hard working student-athlete. His future goal is to get his Masters degree and become a pharmacist. In the meantime, he prepares by maintaining a B average.
Athletically, Burns is a 3-time varsity letterman at Bolingbrook High School where he has received awards such as MVP Honor, Coaches Award, Team Captain, All-Conference and was recently named a top prospect by Chicago Hoops. Currently, Burns is averaging 10.3 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 8 APG and 72% from the line.
When he is not on the court or working hard on his studies, Burns finds time to volunteer and build relationships with college coaches, as he hears from new coaches everyday. Burns is someone to watch as he wraps up his high school career.
