Amanda Apgar
Laguna Creek High School
Elk Grove, CA
For those who play basketball we know that the fall months are a time to prepare for the upcoming year and to train new teammates on the team’s vision and plan. This is exactly where Amanda Apgar is at, being a leader for her team, setting goals to push herself and looking forward to the road ahead. Amanda is a 2010 Grad from Elk Grove, California who contributes to the Laguna Creek High School as a small forward and a shooting guard. Last season she led her varsity team in 3-point field goals, so needless to say, she has set the bar high for herself.
Amanda is one of those special student-athletes who always hears what her coaches are saying and in turn, puts their advice into action to make herself a better player. She has been playing competitively for six years and it is one of her goals to play at the next level. Amanda is in the top four percent of her graduating class and maintains a 4.06 GPA out of a 4.0 scale. The college coach that gets Amanda on their team will see all these great qualities. Amanda is a student-athlete to keep an eyen on!
