The 6-foot-3 senior scored a combined 37 points and played well down the stretch in consecutive victories over Mount St. Joseph that helped the Owls clinch regular-season titles in the Baltimore Catholic League and Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference.
On Feb. 6, Delaney scored nine of his game-high 21 points in the fourth quarter of a 64-59 win at Mount St. Joseph.
In Friday's rematch -- a 55-53 win at home -- Delaney scored 16 points to help Towson Catholic (26-4) overcome a five-point halftime deficit. Delaney made a key free throw in the final minute.
Delaney earned second-team All-Metro honors as a sophomore and was a first-team All-Metro selection as a junior. He has earned a full athletic scholarship to play for Virginia Tech.
