Lauren Lybbert is a 6’1” senior from Davenport, IA and attends Davenport Assumption High School. Lybbert is a standout power forward or center who averaged 12.1 points per game and 6.7 rebounds her junior year. Her stats have helped her receive 1st Team All-Metro honors, 1st Team All-State and she holds the state record for field goal percentage at an impressive 67%.
She is not only number one on the court, she is also first in her class. She currently maintains an impressive straight A average. Some of Lybbert’s academic awards include National Honor Society and High Honor Roll. Outside of basketball, she is a member of the Student Council, FCS, Student Ambassador, Science Club and Spanish Club.
With this impressive resume, it’s no wonder colleges are knocking on her door. She has received interest from the United States Military Academy, Cornell College, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Drake University.
