Tanner Smith is a 6’5”, 195 pound senior from Alpharetta, GA and attends Wesleyan High School. The explosive wing put together a great junior season last year scoring over 24 points per game, and pulling down over 8 rebounds per game. Smith also connected on nearly 50% from the field, and over 80% from the free throw line. His accomplishments led to a very impressive 2nd Team All-State selection.
Tanner Smith is also a very good student in the classroom. He currently maintains an 88.3/100 GPA at Wesleyan, and is a member of the honor roll, a Wesleyan Ambassador, and a Peer Leader.
One of the most impressive accomplishments on Smith‘s resume doesn’t include his work on the court, or in the classroom. Tanner Smith is the president of Tanner’s Totes, Inc. Tanner’s Totes is a non-profit organization that helps teenagers cope with cancer and other long-term illnesses. In fact, his father, Craig, is a cancer survivor himself.
Tanner Smith has recently narrowed his list of schools down to five, namely Auburn, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Georgia, and Michigan.
