Cactus Shadows High School standout Natalie Omundson is NCSA’s Cross Country Impact Athlete of the Month. This would likely come as no surprise to Omundson’s parents, who have watched their daughter achieve so much through high school already.
Academically, Omundson has held a 4.0 GPA throughout high school. She is a member of the IB program and has already earned herself a scholarship to any Arizona college/university based on her academic testing.
Omundson has also excelled on the track. She recently earned her third varsity letter in cross country, placing 4th at the 4A DI State Meet. Her finish helped lead her team to a 2nd place overall state finish. The upcoming track season should be another successful one for Omundson as well. She placed 3rd overall in state in the 3200M. She has been the regional champ for the past two years in the 1600M and the 3200M.
