Senior Genevieve Collins is a 5'8" Midfielder from Winnipeg, Canada, who has been named Impact Athlete of the Month for the second time in 2008. Collins has recently finalized her recruiting process by committing to Cornell University and she couldn't be anymore ecstatic!
As a three-time varsity starter and three-sport athlete, Collins was named All-Conference and League MVP for field hockey. In 2008 she took part in the National Team Development Camp and in 2007 she played with the Senior Women's Team.
Collins has not neglected her studies. In fact, she maintains a 3.5 GPA and anticipates earning a pre-med degree.
Collins stated early on what she was looking for at the next level, "I am looking for a school with a great academic reputation and athletic environment."
