February sixth began the national letter of intent signing period for field hockey. This was an exciting day for senior Theresa Burek, who signed with Monmouth University. Theresa made her dream come true by working hard in the classroom and on the field.
Theresa was a four year starter at West Windsor Plainsboro High School in New Jersey. She led her team to several Colonial Division Championships and her outstanding play at the forward position caught the eyes of the Monmouth coaches.
The most important aspect of the recruiting process for Theresa was maintaining her academic focus. She accumulated a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
All of us here at the National Collegiate Scouting Association want to congratulate Theresa on her resent commitment! We know she will excel in all aspects of collegiate life.
