Morgan Hammer
Fox Chapel Area HS
Pennsylvania
Morgan Hammer is an outstanding goalkeeper out of Fox Chapel Area High school and will enter her junior year this fall. Hammer has already been ranked as the #1 and #2 goalie over the past two years among the WPIAL All-Star Team in Western Pennsylvania. Hammer’s biggest accomplishment was setting the Guinness Book of World Records in “Most Consecutive Shut-Outs by a Field Hockey Goalie.”
According to Hammer, it is just another day at the office, but this is coming from someone who was asked to play on the U-19 Team as a 13 year old. In the 2006 season, Hammer had 212 shots on goal and stopped .935% of them, allowing only 14 goals all year. She has been very busy this summer attending camps, tournaments and showcases. She plays with Team Pittsburgh in the off-season and was the starting goalie at the Keystone State Games this summer. Recently, at the National Elite Goalkeeping Academy Hammer was ranked by Holland coaches as someone that could play at the National and International level. She is 3.5 GPA student and is looking to forward to starting her junior year and the ’07 season.
