Derrick Seward is one of the best kept secrets in college recruiting. He is leading the entire country of Japan in rushing! Because of where he plays not a lot of people in the states know about him, but that’s all about to change come January. Derrick and the rest of his family will be moving to the talent rich state of California, where Derrick will put his “Rookie of the Year” legs to the test.
Derrick shows great instincts and vision, and almost always can find a seam in the defense—having 4.5 speed doesn’t hurt either. Some athletes can make the claim that they are all region, but few have regions covering four countries! Derrick holds that claim.
Derrick is doing well in the classroom, but is always working to get his grades up. He intends on studying Biology, Forensic Science, or something in the sports field.
Regardless of where he is playing, Derrick should be one of the most sought out runningbacks these next 2.5 years.
