Steven Filer, a Junior at Mount Carmel, has some big shoes to fill. NFL standouts Donovan McNabb and Simeon Rice are both former Mount Carmel football players. This season the 6-3 220 pound filer recorded 87 tackles and 8 sacks. His excellent size and athleticism has attracted a lot of attention from college recruiters. His Senior season will surely solidify his standing as one of the top defensive prospects in the country.
