The spring of an athlete’s junior year can be an uncertain time. At this point in the recruiting process college coaches have started to send out their initial wave of mailings, followed by invitations to junior days. Like all student athletes, Matt Muncy is wondering which programs are going to become serious about him as a potential scholarship student athlete.
Muncy, a 6’4” 212 lb WR prospect from Tazewell, Virginia, has all the raw ability that coaches are looking for. Clocked at a 4.64 in the 40, Muncy has all the speed he needs to be a great possession receiver. Blessed with size, speed and strength, Muncy has gained the initial attention of 20 plus colleges and universities.
Wake Forrest has recognized the talents of Muncy and has extended him an early offer. With a 3.3 GPA and a huge athletic ceiling it won’t take long for other coaches to follow suite.
