NCSA was well represented at the QB1 Maine South combine this year. Eight student athletes that NCSA represents competed in this year's event. The participants included, Jordan Roberts of Aurora Christian, Alex Haan of Chicago Christian, Kevin Galeher of St. Rita, Ben Olson of Morris Community, Sean Santiago of Mundelein, Mark Alagna of Bartlett, Mike Yocius of Cary Grove, and Jim Battaglia of Nazareth Academy.
Each player had a strong showing at the event, working out in front of more than 100 college coaches. The highlight of the evenings event came at the end of the night in the pass rush competition. Sean Santiago recorded a win in each of his battles, while Kevin Galeher handled some of the best d-line prospects in the country. Ben Olson was definitely the nights big winner, after his performance and the viewing of his virtual try out coaches from Eastern Illinois extended a full scholarship offer to him.
