Emily Siira is a rising star out of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This 2009 grad takes her recruiting very seriously and her hard work is about to yield exciting results.
Emily has played hockey since second grade and this year she is minding the net for the Wisconsin Wild. Last year Emily’s Wild team won the Wisconsin State Championship and they hope to repeat in 2009. Emily challenges herself on the ice by working privately with a goalie coach to improve her skills. She is also aggressive in the classroom. Emily takes AP and honors courses in several subjects and she is motivated by the creative process. Emily’s 29 ACT and nearly perfect GPA have opened the eyes of many college coaches.
Emily has spent the summer touring college campuses and working on her game. Several Division III coaches have already told Emily they’d love to have her on their campus next season, and now it is time for Emily to start to narrow down her choices. With her track record of success, there is no reason to doubt that Emily will make a great decision.
