The road to play men’s NCAA hockey is not easy, but 2008 grad Rob Linsmayer has taken all the right steps to assure he achieves his dreams. This Winnetka, Illinois native has played competitive hockey for many years, capping off his high school career with the Chicago Young Americans (CYA). Rob led his team to a 53-15-9 record; and his 47 goals and 69 assists just made have had something to do with the success.
Rob is a model student-athlete who is a leader on the ice and in the classroom. He maintained a 92/100 GPA at Loyola Academy and scored a 28 on his ACT. Rob hopes to study engineering and is currently speaking with several Division I coaches. Next season he will play Junior A for the Chicago Steel. If Rob stays on track the future looks very bright!
