Minnesota State was the only school from the North Central Conference to place in the top 20. Other NCC schools listed in the top 50 included Minnesota-Duluth (22nd), North Dakota (33rd), South Dakota (40th), Nebraska-Omaha (45th) and St Cloud State (49th).
