Nate Wise

Nate Wise is a focused student-athlete; in that order: he is a student first, an athlete second. Nate attends The University of Chicago Laboratory High School, located on University of Chicago’s campus. Nate takes a variety of AP classes including Biology, Physics and Calculus. He also scored a 31 on his ACT this past junior year.
Nate is also a member of the USYS ODP ’91 IL State Team, who participated in the USYS ODP National Championships this year. He plays center mid for his club team, FC Drive. As a member of University High’s Varsity Team, Nate was named 1st Team All-Section and 1st Team All-Conference as a junior.
Even without soccer Nate would be looking for a top academic institution, and soccer is just icing on the cake. Although Nate is on Illinois’s ’91 ODP State Team, he is looking for a Division III college. Nate knows that there is life and a career after college soccer. He has recently narrowed his interest to schools that are in the NESCAC Conference, or other top academic schools such as Washington University in St. Louis, Emory University in Atlanta or John Hopkins University in Baltimore.
