Aryn Grause

Aryn Grause, a 2008 grad from Corvallis, Oregon has completed her recruiting process by making her decision to attend the University of Puget Sound. She has been a four-year varsity starter at Crescent Valley High School. Last season Aryn was a 1st Team All-Conference selection.
During the summer Aryn travels with her 18U Gold summer team Oregon Reign, playing in national tournaments across the United States.
Aryn looked into many possibilities with schools in the Midwest and other areas before settling on the University of Puget Sound located in the Northwest. She was able to visit two schools in Iowa as she explored all her options.
After her visit to colleges in the Midwest, Aryn faced the challenge of telling those schools that they were not for her and she did not want to lead them on by going further in the recruiting process. Having built relationships with those coaches, it was a difficult but necessary part of the process for Aryn to let them know she was not longer interested in their college. Aryn met the challenge in graciously declining their offers.
With her success in the classroom, Aryn maintained a 3.68 GPA and attained a 1230 (2-part) SAT score as well as a 26 ACT, she is recognized as a member of the National Honor Society.
Aryn is set on her course to have a successful college experience at the University of Puget Sound and we at NCSA wish her the best.
