Meredith Heath is a 5’6” shortstop from Benbrook, Texas. This fall Meredith will join the Chipola College Softball team who are the reigning National Junior College Champions and currently ranked # 1 in the nation. In her fourth year as the starting shortstop for her high school team, Meredith has already has earned first team all-district honors three years in a row.
Meredith boasts a high school batting average of .490 with 21 stolen bases. During the summer she competes on the 18U No Limit travel team tournaments. Other tournaments her team has competed in include the Aurora, Colorado Invitational as well as others through out the southwest.
Meredith also excels the classroom with a 3.8 GPA, and she is a member of the national honor society. She is currently undecided on a college major.
Meredith will begin in the junior college ranks to put herself in a position to secure a spot on a competitive four year college roster in the southeast region. NCSA wishes Meredith the best and will continue to help her with her college search when she is ready to pursue a transfer.
