Judy Betz is one of few 2009 grads who already solidified her college selection with a recent verbal commitment to play softball at Wagner College. The 5’8”, 170lbs pitcher and infielder will be contributing intelligence, experience and speed to the Seahawks program.
Betz knows all about setting a goal and following it through until the end, as she helped lead Broad Run High School to the 2007 AA State Champions after an undefeated season. During the 2007 season, Betz hit 31 out of 75 at bats, had eight doubles and 25 runs batted in. Over the summer, Betz played for the Asburn Shooting Stars, where she pitched at 64mph and struck out 64 batters.
NCSA will be excited to follow Judy Betz’s progress during the last two years of high school and throughout her college career.
