Liz Castaneda, a right handed pitcher and infielder from Montclair High School, has recently finalized her college search. She has committed to Norfolk State University where she will compete next season.
Liz has been successful at the high school level where she garnered All-League honors. Last year Liz posted a .437 batting average and as a pitcher she held a 3.150 earned run average. During the summer she competes with the 18 Gold SoCal Rage travel team. Liz is a true four-sport athlete who also plays tennis, soccer and volleyball at Montclair High.
Liz does well in the classroom, maintaining a 3.07 GPA. She scored a 1050 on the SAT and is on the honor roll.
Everyone at NCSA wishes Liz the best of luck as she heads off to Norfolk State University next fall.
