Where do you see your academic future? I plan to attend Auburn University and major in international business.
Where do you see your athletic future? I do not plan to play softball at the collegiate level.
Favorite subject: My favorite subject would probably be Spanish. I loved that class. My favorite college course has been business statistics because it is like solving a puzzle. Who has been a major positive influence on you? My parents, Danny and Judy Jones, have had a huge impact on my life. They have taught me that hard work has its rewards and to always look to God for guidance. My dad is the most amazing person in my life, and I really don't think he realizes this. I honestly have no clue how he only gets three hours of sleep, works all day long at our family business in Clanton, and then manages to drive 90 miles home to watch me play softball. I know he thinks all of this goes unnoticed, but I know he does everything possible to make sure my brother and I have the best life possible. I thank God every day for the people in my life, because without them I wouldn't be the person I am today.
What's on your iPod? I believe anyone could listen to my iPod and find something they like. I have a lot of different genres because I never know what type of music I will be in the mood for.
What is your favorite sports memory? The area tournament my sophomore year. It was 1:30 that Sunday morning when we won our last game. We had to beat Corner back-to-back and we won our area. My most recent memory would be hitting my first home run the first game of this season.
Other interests: I love to run. I have competed in the Mercedes Half Marathon for the past two years. It is the most amazing feeling when you cross the finish line. I also love to travel. My most recent vacation was Hawaii this past January. It was indescribable. From Birmingham News.
