Adam Rice, a 6’0” senior from Atwater, California, has committed to attend the University of California - San Diego this fall and compete on the swim team there. Adam committed to them during the November signing period and signed his letter of intent.
Adam excels in the 100 Fly (52.57), 200 IM (1:58.58), 50 Free (22.87), and 400 IM (4:23.25). He has achieved All-District status in Stanislaus County. On the club level Adam competes with the Pirate Aquatic Swim Club.
Boasting a 3.56 GPA in the classroom with an 1130 on the SAT (2-part) test opened many collegiate doors for Adam. He intends to study engineering in college. Adam chose UC San Diego for its distinction as one of the top academic institutions in the country.
We know Adam will do well for the Tritons next season and we at NCSA wish him the best.
