Cathleen Keating, a 5’8” senior from Chatham, NJ has completed her college search by selecting Fairfield University. Cathleen signed the letter of intent with Fairfield during the early signing period in November. She had a few other offers but chose Fairfield which was her top choice through the recruiting process after took her visit there.
Cathleen specializes in the 50 Free (24.99), 100 Free (54.98) and 100 Fly (1:00.50). She swims with the Somerset Hills YMCA team during the summer and has been a national qualifier this past summer. Her 200 free relay team took 12th at the nationals.
Keating’s 3.2 GPA in the classroom, 25 on the ACT test and 1110 SAT (out of 1600) gave her options with several colleges. Other schools that she considered were Hartwick, University of Vermont and Central Connecticut.
NCSA knows Cathleen will have a great experience at Fairfield and we wish her the best as she becomes a future Fairfield Stag.
