Nick Schmidt, a five foot nine senior from Bells, Tennessee specializes in the 100 Fly (51.99), 100 Free (48.69), 100 Back (54.31), and the 200 Free (1:45.95). Nick also swims for the Union University Swim Club. For the past three years Nick has been the club’s number one swimmer.
Carrying a 3.35 GPA in the classroom with a 25 on the ACT test has given Nick several college options. He has been actively talking to coaches and setting up campus visits at schools in the northeast and mideast regions.
Nick wants to find the proper balance between academics and a competitive swim team and currently he is undecided on a major.
We know Nick will do thorough research and have several viable choices when it comes time to make his final college selection. We at NCSA wish him the best as he nears the end of the recruiting process.
