February 2008 Impact Athlete of the Month

Sarah Demers is a 5’8”, 140 pound swimmer whose main events are the 500 freestyle (5:18.47) and the 100 backstroke (1:07.13). Not only does Sarah make a splash in the pool, she also gets it done in the classroom. Sarah maintained a 3.85 GPA on a scale of 4.0 and received a 31 ACT and 1310 out 1600 on the SAT. Sarah attends Lake Highland Prep in Florida.

Sarah has made her final decision and will attend Middlebury College in the fall. NCSA expects to hear big things from Sarah in the coming years and we wish her the best of luck.
