SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Princeton University's Alicia Aemisegger and UC-Santa Barbara's Patrick Cary headline the 2007 CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major All-America Team announced today. Thirty-six additional swimmers and divers were named to the team on the basis of their qualification to the national meet. Aemisegger, a freshman for the Tigers enjoyed a banner season highlighted by top-eight finishes in the 400 Individual Medley (2nd) and 500 Freestyle (3rd), efforts that earned her All-American honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
Cary, a senior for the Gauchos, also earned CSCAA All-American status for his 8th place finish in the 200 Butterfly. The Big West Champion was fifth in the same event last year and is a three-time Mid-Major All-American.
