Carlos Araque, a 5’5” senior from Miami, Florida, has committed to attend the University of New Orleans this fall where he will compete as a member of the men’s swim team during the inaugural season for the Privateers.
Carlos excels in the breast stroke and has been a state champion in this event. He also has achieved All-American status in the 200 Medley and 200 & 400 Free Relays. On the club level Carlos has competed in the junior nationals in the 100 breast event.
Boasting a 3.6 GPA and 1140 SAT opened many doors. Carol’s comments about his decision to attend the U. of New Orleans “....I have committed to University of New Orleans!!!!!! Thank you...because they found me through you. I have a million emails from coaches. It would be very hard to log in every single one of them...I really have like a million...you guys did your work.”
We know Carlos will do well for the Privateers next season and we at NCSA wish him the best.
