Karlton Mitchell is a 2009 Grad from Pearland High School in Pearland, Texas. Mitchell is an Honor Roll student and has a cumulative GPA of 3.479/4.0. Other academic awards that he has received include: National Youth Leadership Forum of Medicine and Junior Statesman Foundation. He is a very active member in the community and is involved in Citizen Volunteer and Church Youth Group.
Karlton ran a 1:57.07 in the 800m his junior year and is looking to improve it his senior year. In the 1600m he ran a 4.31 and believes that he can lower his time this upcoming season. He has had official visits to UT-San Antonio, Sam Houston State and the University of Houston. One of these coaches will be adding a stellar athlete and great individual to their team in 2009.
