Sean Lunkenheimer is helping New Jersey’s Old Bridge High School continue their strong running tradition. He has been making an impact since freshman year. The five foot eleven junior brought home a GMC Championships title in the 400 meter hurdles and the 800 meter this year. He also placed fifth at the group 4 championships in the 400 meter hurdles and fourth overall in the New Jersey Meet of Champions open 400 meter.
Sean’s personal records include a 48.2 400 meter, 1:55.4 800 meter, and 54.05 400 meter hurdles. His performances as a sophomore earned him an athlete of the week honor, first team all area, first team all county, and Star Ledger athlete of the year awards.
Sean has dreams of running at a Division I school and following in the footsteps of his older brother Allan who is currently at Wake Forrest. Sean is considering a major in business.
