They say that good things come in pairs, and that is especially true in the case of Justin and Lauren Chambers. Twins from Kell High School in Acworth Georgia, Justin and Lauren set records wherever they go. Although they have the same birthday, the pair have taken distinctively different paths in track & field.
Justin is a svelt sprinter at 5’8’’ 160 lbs. Since freshman year he has exploded from the blocks. At Kell, Justin has earned 1st team All-Region in the 400M and 1st team All-State in the 4x100M. Justin is a member of the USATF Junior Olympic 4x400MR National Championship team and also placed 2nd in the individual event. He is currently ranked 17th among the IAAF World Youth 400M leader board with a time of (47.50).
This duo is completed by Lauren, who is no stranger to success. Lauren competes in the throwing events of hammer, weight throw and shot put. Lauren earned Kell High School a 3rd place finish in the shot put as a sophomore. Amazingly, Lauren is also the USATF Junior Olympic National Champion in the hammer. Not only did Lauren win the event, she set a National Record of (153’8’’). Lauren is an NSIC All-American in the weight throw and the shot put and a NIKE All-American in the hammer.
