Megan Gaughn

Megan Gaughn is no stranger to the Florida High School State Volleyball Tournament. Gaughn, a 5’11’’ junior outside hitter from Winter Park, has participated every year of high school competition. Lake Highland Prep has created a dynasty in Florida Class 3A over the past years. Megan’s team won the state title in her sophomore year where she was also named 2nd team All-State. In her third year of varsity competition, Megan has already earned District Player of the Year honors and is headed to the state finals. In addition, Megan earned the prestigious honor to be named a member of the “Sophomore 79” by prepvolleyball.com during the 2006 year.
In the offseason (not that there is one), Megan plays club with Orlando Volleyball Academy. Last year her team played in the Open division at USA Nationals and earned a 5th place finish at AAU Nationals. We expect Megan to continue making an impact into club season this year with OVA.
