Sarah Griest

When you have been playing volleyball since a young age, many people will hit a wall when it comes to improvement. Sarah Griest is just the opposite. The 5’10’’ hitter from Foster City, CA has earned Most Improved on both high school varsity seasons so far. She also went from Honorable Mention All-Conference as a freshman to 1st Team as a sophomore. Her high flying has helped the team win the Ocean League the past two seasons.
Sarah is also a hitter for City Beach Santa Clara 16-1’s this year. Her team is competing at the open level and currently ranked 3rd in the NCVA power league. Sarah’s team is extremely close to qualifying for Nationals, which they hope to do at the Far Western Qualifier. They recently came in 7th at the Socal Qualifier in 16 Open. This year will complete 5 seasons of club volleyball for Sarah.
