The Fresno County Board of Supervisors honored a local wrestler who recently made high school history.
Gilberto Camacho is the first student ever from Washington Union High School to take home a state championship title.
In only his second season, Camacho went undefeated until he went to the national championships, where he took second place.
He ended his season with a record of 54 wins and one loss. He won every tournament he entered, including the Masters, Divisionals, Lemoore Bash, CIT in Morro Bay and the Western Invitational in Modesto.
