Holy Family High School
Boulder, CO
Dori Gills, a 5’9’’ three time starting guard from Boulder, CO, is proud to bring home the Class 3A State Championship for the Holy Family High School Tigers, who are no strangers to success on the hardwood. Along with the obvious team success, she experienced a great individual season that was capped by many personal accolades. Compiling a season average of 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals she tabbed herself as one of the premiere juniors in Colorado. Highlighting those accolades was a spot on the All State 2nd Team. Dori was not done there! She was named Denver Post Student Athlete of the Week-March 23rd, team leading scorer and 10th leading scorer in the state.
These awards did not stop on the hardwood. She was named to the All State Academic team for a 5th time as well as maintaining a 3.3 GPA. Dori is a student ambassador and is an active member in her church community. These qualities will assist her continued success at the next level. A continued passion on the court and a desire to succeed off the court are just a couple attributes that will set Dori apart from her competition.
