Attending men's soccer camps will help you develop your skills and get closer to finding the right college soccer scholarship opportunity. Any soccer camp is a great opportunity to practice drills and prove yourself as a college soccer recruit in front of college coaches. Use this list to help you find college soccer camps near you where you can become an even stronger soccer player.

Choosing the Right College Soccer Camp

Choosing which college soccer camp is right for you will depend on several criteria.

  • How far do you want to travel to camp?
  • What is your time commitment to a college soccer camp? Would you rather attend a day or an overnight camp?
  • What is your family's budget for college soccer camps?
  • Have you already been in contact with a coach at a particular college or university?
  • How far along are you in the college soccer recruiting process? Do you have particular goals (to practice your passing or your shot, to learn new drills, to gain exposure to college coaches, etc.) that you want to achieve at this camp?

There are no wrong answers to these questions -- but having a good college soccer camp experience requires knowing what you want to gain from the camp. For example, if you want to maximize your exposure to coaches, you might want to look for college soccer camps that have a lower ratio of players to coaches. On the other hand, if you're looking to improve in areas of your game, you should think about attending a soccer camp earlier in your high school career so you have time to perfect the skills you learn and show improvement on the field.

You can be sure that no matter which men's soccer camp you choose, you'll receive training just like the coaching staff instructs college soccer players who attend their school.
