Mariah Fernandez

Mariah Fernandez, a 5’7” senior from Cape Coral, Florida, has been actively contacting colleges and setting up campus visits this fall. Mariah is an All-Conference first baseman.
Mariah plays for the 18U Naples Sun Devils and the 18U Lee County Rage travel teams. This fall she will play in several showcase tournaments and will also compete in some games against junior colleges.
Mariah had the opportunity to attend a fall tryout at Warner Southern, an NCAA D2 school. It was a successful event and the coach was impressed enough to offer Mariah a spot on the team. Mariah is still contemplating her options and plans to attend some other tryouts with NAIA, D2 and junior colleges this fall.
Mariah is interested in attending a solid academic institution, as she boasts a 4.34 GPA in high school taking several honors classes.
Visiting campuses this fall will help Mariah find the college that will be the right overall fit for her. We at NCSA wish her the best as she evaluates all her options.
