Krystin "D" Jantzer is a 2010 graduate from Grants Pass High School in Oregon. "D" is an excellent athlete and student who hopes to finalize her college search in the near future. “D”, who hopes to major in architecture, maintains a 3.8 GPA and is ranked 27th out of 453 in her class.
Her accolades continue onto the softball field, where the shortstop/right-handed pitcher batted .370 and hit 6 home runs this past high school season. "D" also had a .716 slugging percentage while helping lead her team to a state championship.
"She helped us win the state championship, and I don't think you can admire a kid more than I admire 'D'," said Head Coach Tom Blanchard.
"D" plays summer ball with the ASA 16U ARK Oregon Legacy. When she's not playing softball, "D" is actively researching colleges and calling coaches to help in her decision-making process. She has been very active in calling coaches and setting up some visits and we wish her luck as she gets closer to making an early college commitment.
