My son has committed to attend Feather River College in Quincy, California where he has been guaranteed a starting position this fall 2009. It was through NCSA that my son became aware of this small college in northern California. Coming from Hawaii, opportunities like this don't just happen. My son put a lot of effort into his recruiting process. During his summer and Christmas breaks he spent all day sending emails to college coaches. Then he followed up when they requested his baseball stats or any other information about him.
At times it was not easy; he would get phone calls early in the morning from college coaches wanting to talk with him. Being that we are in Hawaii there is a time difference so the calls would come in as early as 5:00am, but he always woke up to receive his calls. His commitment paid off as the opportunities seemed endless. He was offered to play baseball at colleges from all over California, Oregon, Colorado and Washington.
I recommend any parent who is not sure of this program to go for it. You will not be disappointed. The NCSA team will be behind you the whole way. They make sure you stay on the right track throughout your recruiting process. They will even call you by phone if you don’t reply to your e-mails. And they always send lots of information through e-mails. It was well worth the money we spent. My only regret is that I wish I knew about NCSA when my first son was going off to college. I would have done the same for him too.
