Matt Calhoun - Norwhich University
I put in work everywhere it was needed. If I needed to look for colleges with my major, I spent a couple of hours at collegeboard.com looking up schools. If I needed to send coaches statistics, I would spend some time adding up all shots on goal, saves, goals against, etc. If I didn’t put work in where it was needed, I wouldn’t of had the success I experienced.
NCSA impacted my recruiting process from every angle. I was entering the recruiting process blindfolded, until I contacted NCSA. They helped lead me and showed me what to do from day one. They set you up for only success and won’t let you fail. They lead you in the right direction, but it is ultimately up to you to make this all happen.
I would advise prospective recruits to take their time and not to rush things. Also, I would tell them to listen to every word you tell them because nothing useless comes out of NCSA. What NCSA teaches will not only help you in recruiting, but also in real life. I would take notes on the coaching sessions and make sure you understand everything completely in order to get the most out of it.
