Junior Libero/Outside Hitter Kyle Burgoyne is our December Impact Athlete of the Month because of his outstanding play over the past year and his passion for the game of volleyball. Kyle is 6’2’’ from Hawthorne, California. He attends Mira Costa High School, a well known volleyball powerhouse.
Kyle has spent his entire club career with SCVC. Great coaching is one of the things that makes SCVC stand out from other clubs in the area. He started on the 13-1’s team and has continued his growth every year. His teams attended JO Nationals every year, earning 13th place with 15’s and 5th with 16’s last year. He will be assisting his 17-1’s team with an even higher finish as a junior.
Kyle has two years of JV volleyball under his belt and is looking forward to helping the varsity team this year.
