Personal Statement

I am Kailee Powell "KP" and softball is my passion. There is nothing I would love more than the opportunity to play at a D1 college while pursuing a degree. I am a natural born leader, and I push myself to be the best player, student, and person I can become.

I am looking for an academically competitive school that is as dedicated as I am to a team-first mentality; has a sense of family as well as urgency and a desire to win; and will provide me the chance to better the team overall and myself as an athlete while. My goals are to obtain a 4.0 throughout my school years and attend a Division 1 college and play softball. My ultimate goal is to play softball as long as I can, and gain an education in the process.
