Personal Statement

My name is Emily Berni and I am a junior year at Paloma Valley High School (Menifee, CA). I have been been playing competitive travel softball since the age of 10. I am thankful for the many experiences I have had and the friendships I have made through softball. I enjoy the daily grind of practice and competing in games with my teammates. My current overall GPA is 3.85 and I am taking 2 AP classes this semester. On the field, I have earned second team all-league the previous two seasons (9th/ 10th) and was voted as my team's Best Offensive Player (10th). I am interested in studying to become a physical therapist, psychologist, or special education teacher. At this time, I am looking for a school that will provide excellent educational opportunities and allow me to keep playing the sport that I love.
