Ciara Miller '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5' 9" infielder from Sacramento, CA and will graduate in the 2015 class from Sacramento Charter High School.   I have 3 years starting Varsity experience and several all-star team experiences since i started playing softball at the age of 10.  I consider myself a leader, I like to set a good example for my teammates and focus on fundamentals of the game.  I have been lucky in the coaching I have received in the past as they focus on the basics and building a good work ethic.  I believe the hard work is the key to being the best player you can be and there is always room to improve. 

Ideally, I would like to be at a larger size school with an opportunity to grow, both as an athlete and a person. I am interested in any and all schools on the West Coast.  Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have high need. I would be willing to travel farther to a school with less out of pocket expense. Ideally I would like to be at a program where I would make a big contribution early in my career. I am also interested the field of Law.
